VISIT OUR WINE CELLAR
EXPERIENCE OUR GUIDED TOURS
Batasiolo is opening its cellars to tours designed to welcome wine lovers to experience the winery’s selection of wines and to guide visitors to discover the stunning surroundings. The selection of wines will be sampled directly in the cellar and is representative of the flavours that will be offered.
Visits comply with the Covid-19 containment regulations currently in force.
Wine production is where tradition, meets modern production concepts and a visit to our cellars is an opportunity to learn how great wines are made today with respect for past customs based on experience and dedication combined with state-of-the-art technology.
Visitors will enjoy a first-hand experience and discover how each section of our charming cellars is designed to get the very best from each and every grape.
The visit follows the steps of the harvested grapes through the pressing area, the fermentation area, the wine barrel cellar with its large oak barrels and the barrique cellar. The tour will pause here to explore the spectacular architecture and astounding technology. The system for controlling climatic conditions, aeration and humidity was designed at the behest of the Dogliani family. It allows a constant yield of the wine through the barrique casks, ensuring the proper preservation of the barrels and limiting the natural absorption of the precious content by the wood.
The cellar is ready to welcome you on weekdays in the morning from 9AM to 10:30AM and in the afternoon from 14PM to 16:30PM.
The guided tour with tasting lasts approximately an hour and a half.
